This makes sense. People don't mind ads when they are relevant to them. What could be more relevant than something you looked at?

I am not opposed to ads on the internet, especially on sites I do not pay to use (seems like a fair trade). So if I have to see ads, seeing those that are relevant to me is much better than just random ones that don't apply.

Interesting survey! And I'm surprised by how many people are ambivalent or find them helpful.

Its so useful because it serves as a reminder that the user had expressed interest in the product/service and just allows them to revisit that site while browsing relevant sites.
