Fox’s Glee is fast becoming a television phenomenon and a tremendous marketing vehicle for advertisers as well as the show’s own products (i.e. soundtracks, concerts, etc). This could not have come at a better time for Fox as American Idol (a ratings juggernaut and an ad revenue “cash cow” for the past several years) has begun to see a decline in ratings.
