Thanks for the post. My company, providing Photography Lessons in York, is about as small as it gets, and advertising is a real challenge. £2-300 may not be much to loose for most firms, but it all comes out of my pocket, and for the most part doesn't work.

My current issue is that I'm advertising mostly on FB and Google Adwords, however really aiming at an older age group, with mosre time and disposable cash. Stats suggest they're unlikely to use FB, and I'm struggling to find ways to hit them, without very expensive (for me!) printed adverts.

Great article, thanks! I love Google Adwords campaign because they're so easy to track. It's important, however, to take it slowly and see what works and what doesn't.
