When, in 1970, the INSANE writers at Monty Python decided to do a skit based on the "meat-like" product SPAM, the folks at Hormel Corp. were appalled!

Little could they have known the incredible BOOST it would give to their product!

I like British humor, but sometime Monty Python is over the top! ;) The "Norwegian Blue Parrot" sketch is hilarious.

Do you have examples of other product placements? I haven't seen the movie Sex in the City 2, but I bet that they have several products lined up. I remember a Perrier truck in a James Bond movie.

You can't beat a bit of Monty Python. Don't really like that sketch but it is definitely one large chunk of free publicity.
