Walk down your street or through your shopping centre and look for enthusiastic retailers and you'll have to check your watch. You'd swear they've all been hit with a time delay spray!

Hi Debra,

The interesting thing I find is that enthusiasm is hard to ignore as long as it is genuine and you can usually pick up whether it is or not pretty easily.

Exciting article!! Some of the best lessons I've learned came from overhearing critical comments, or in some cases from honest friends & co-workers actually saying what they thought without filtering it first. Maybe it hurts a little for a minute or two, but the lasting impression has been most valuable.
