This is a fantastic blog post. I totally agree with you. I respond to every single comment that I get on my blog as well. It is one of the best ways to build trust with your readers and increase engagement and interaction.

I also apply this same principle to engaging and interacting on the social networks. I make it a point to respond to every Facebook wall comment I get and ever RT or mention I get on Twitter. This is what going above and beyond is all about and is the biggest thing that will set you apart from all the other 'noise' out there in the blogosphere.

agree with some of your tips there but as for me, not all comments that I like to respond back such as spam comments that were looking for backlinks which never responded a good comment but never the less, I will follow some of your tips and see how impact it will generate to my site.

BigMoneyWeb, But I think we should respond to every comment, even those which only says "Thanks you" or "Great post" because It builds relationship and makes those types of commentators a real commentator.

I've talked alot about this on my blog.
