Lots of great points! I think the frequency of meetings depends on shift scheduling. In a setting w/3 shifts working 24 hrs a day, even meetings every quarter are difficult if everyone from every shift has to show up at noon, for example (which happened in a hospital job I had). If everyone works 1st shift it's a lot easier.
