Yes, but doesn't a self-employed person run the risk of an audit by deducting their car, no matter how well they keep records of its use? A good friend that does taxes told me that this type of deduction can act as a trigger for an audit, especially if one hasn't been doing it since the beginning of owning the car. What do you think?
