Having a client not paying for your service can be very frustrating, however you need to be sure you take the correct procedures in order to deal with this client, and ensure this does not happen again.

In the context of the article, what I do is reminding clients regularly, and if I get no response, I just stop the service :)

Factoring is a good solution, but not the best, IMO. The fee is one of the main considerations.
