Really good points! From one who never considered myself much of a salesman, I still think it helps to have a great product or service to begin with. It's possible to be good enough at the sales process to sell something you don't believe in or that you know to be inferior. (I've seen it done!) But it isn't something I aspire to or something I think others should aspire to either.
