Joel,

I find this very fascinating as I did your post on Master Franchise packages. I guess the only question I would have is what motivation might a franchisee have to decide to be a Multi-Unit franchise owner from the beginning? Wouldn't it make more sense to try a single unit first and expand later? A 10 percent discount just doesn't seem like enough of an incentive for the risk. And how do franchise companies decide who is "right" for this sort of opportunity?
