Again an insightful read Eric, keeping a tab on whats hot n new in the market I tried this new email marketing app called Ariticmail. It has as great features as Sendinblue and mailchimp - free plans, autoresponders, email templates, email addons for more subscribers, apt for large volume emails, more than 100 % email open rate, plans starting as low as $15 for 10,000 subscribers. this is definately an one more option to consider.
