Every day at our job placement firm we interview people who need work. Depending on their experience, age, industry, or occupation we try to work with each person to understand how we can assist them in getting a job. And sometimes it’s not too easy helping with their job search skills.

A great post Warren, lots of easy to "follow-up on immediately" tips there. I am working with a few clients at the moment in different stages of job-hunting, and it never ceases to amaze me, the lack of connection between what they do / have done professionally, and what they love / enjoy.

Looking for work should be viewed as a full time job, I agree, and now with so much information available to us instantly, lack of knowledge about a company / interviewer is unacceptable.
