Maybe you need a Business Divorce

If your customer won’t discuss a concrete plan to pay the past due invoices, then it may be time to get the divorce and cut that customer loose.

A point also stressed by Alan Greenspan that we base our business on trust and not on the law. Litigation is expensive and slow so without trust we cannot do business. Failing to make good on payments is a huge betrayal of trust and I agree that it is time to look a moving on. Unfortunately it is a problem that is increasing in these tough times. We should all remember that money needs to flow. If full payment is not possible then we should always look to discuss options. Options which help to keep money flowing, even if it is a little slower.
