Agreed. Integrity is something you just can't fake. I think any staff are sensitive to whether or not their leaders are honest and forthright, and dishonesty always undermines any effort in the long run. But what do you do when you are being honest and you still have a tarnished reputation among employees, perhaps due to rumors or the lies of competitors? Maybe some pro-active personal reputation management is a good tool for maintaining one's integrity both within and without your company. Hmmm...
