Occasionally, at work, you may need to make presentations; presentations of your ideas, information, plans, and proposals.
But for many people, making such a presentation is a daunting prospect. They feel ill at ease, awkward, and nervous; they fear that they will mess it up. And if you feel too nervous, you will, indeed, mess it up.
