Very nicely-done! A good mother is also like a good chicken, she knows when it's time for her young to be eased out of the nest and to stand on their own. Unfortunately back until the first part of the last century, many mothers thought that age was about nine.

Kidding aside, my mom knew I wanted a new Zebco rod and reel for the upcoming Pa. trout season when I was about nine. She had the money but told me if I wanted it I would need to get a paper route. I did, and I missed the season...I had to settle for casting in our backyard until the next season. But she taught me a good lesson. Thanks Mom!
