Chris Gordon is the founder of the Irish Export Cooperative. It was set up to reduce the cost of exports for Small Medium and Micro Enterprises in the Republic of Ireland. Chris effectively came together with a number of SMEs and negotiated better terms with couriers. These terms give us a competitive edge in exporting internationally. His goal is to reduce costs for SMEs, create jobs, increase exporting for small business and get some value back into the economy at this important time in Ireland’s history.

Yes the great thing I look from my interview from Chris was that he is a man of action. Most people have great ideas and even say they are going to do something, but never do. He on the other hand is a "Doer".

Chris is someone I know and admire, a business owner that’s not afraid to go out and do something to benefit fellow SMEs. For the small business community to recover in Ireland, we’re going to need more people like Chris. The Irish Export Cooperative is a wonderful initiative and I’m delighted to hear about its success to date. Great job!
