Brad Farris wrote a very thought-provoking article about his 14 years of running and growing a business and advising small business owners. He's realized there's often a lot of things that drive us to run a business -- we're allergic to authority, have a really strong need for control , etc. (Sound familiar?) And until we face these "demons" we can't grow and mature as leaders.
Leadership is hard.
Being a better leader means not just learning, it means changing and growing. You. You need to change. You need to grow. And real growth involves facing those demons.
What are some of the "demons" holding you back from being a better leader? Need for control? Pride? Allergy to authority?
Want to be a better leader? Face your demons first
