3 Reasons why I am using less Facebook for my Business

The several reasons following are why I am leaning away from the use of Facebook to market my business and my blog, Internet Dreams.

Great points here. I don't use facebook at all for my business anymore. Just post the random update or so whenever I get the inkling to. I'm more set on Google+ and Twitter now. Those two platforms are def worth more of my time and where is where my audience is.

You're very right Jane, i also hate those mischievous ads that they always show up and, they started doing all that recently. But, facebook is also my top referral traffic source so, i can't get it behind me just like that. Interesting post Sam, Thanks for sharing it with the bizsugar community.

Hey Sam, I totally agree with you on this! Like, you, I've never intensively used Facebook in the past but it continues to be one of the top referrals of my blog traffic - so I kinda stick to it.

But to be honest I've never built any genuine relationship off Facebook! Its too much ads (really too much recently) and annoying notifications. They have this opt out model for everything and you always have to "turn off" something that you didn't "turned on" - Facebook turns on everything annoying for you and that's pathetic.

And not to mention I get a lot of affected updates (porn, virus, etc) from even genuine profiles on my wall - and again I have to tell Facebook "I don't want to see this"!
