David, I think it is an integration of finding, developing and protecting your personal brand and at the same time interact in different online communities (in my case, e.g., Small Business Trends and here on BizSugar) and participate in social activities like Mashable Meetup and Social Media Club in Gothenburg, Sweden.

David Stiernholm (@DavidStiernholm on Twitter) said something like this to me during a lunch meeting: "You have integrated your personal brand and your profession as a social media enthusiast in a good way." I credit my insight in fundamental ideas for this integration and that is why I use the motto, "Trader in Matter & Spirit" in my Twitter bio.
