One point is the importance of preserving, protecting, and extending the technology called RSS (Really Simple Syndication / Rich Site Summary). With the RSS feed you could get notified when a new episode of a podcast is published. With Podcasting 2.0 you could have new fascinating features, e.g., value for value, live id tag, transcript, etc.

Hi

A well explained post on podcast. It looks like podcast is here to stay as it has got a number of advantages comparing to a blog post or of any other visual contents. As you said, we can listen to a podcast while you cook or while you drive. The same can’t be said for blog posts or any form of visual content, which is the advantage they have and hence are more widely accepted around the world.

Thanks for the share, but i feel something missing in it to mention, like the required equipments and it's availability etc. needed to create a perfect podcast.
