Do you listen to podcasts or webinars and after they have finished you get motivated with the possibilities of the marketing ideas for your business? If you have, the question is have you taken action with the information from these events?

Susan,

I think one of the big fears most of us have is trying something new, even if what we're doing isn't working. It's not particularly rational but I think it's also probably rooted in the desire to be consistent, something we're also always warned about as entrepreneurs and marketers. Getting that balance between trying new ideas when we hear about them or when something we're doing isn't working and staying the course: It's a real balancing act.

Hi Shawn,

Getting the balance right is tough. It is interesting you say about the fear of trying something new as I often hear small biz owners talking about new things and are quick to jump from tactic to tatic. Perhaps it is changing. It would be good to hear thoughts from others here at BizSugar.
