Amazon.com opened its virtual doors in July of 1996. Their system of rewarding people who are directly responsible for the sales of products owned by others is widely regarded as the first recognisable affiliate program on the Internet. It was and still is a great way to make money online – if you manage your expectations and know that realistically, any money you make will be an addition to your main income, not a replacement for it.

I can't comment on the process of mentioning Amazon products in your podcast because quite frankly I haven't tried it.
However, if you have a product review category on your site, or some review specific sites themselves, then this review writing template should help with conversions.
Cheers!

I am think of developing my mentions of products on Amazon on my podcast show. I will ask my guests about their favorite products, related to the topics we are discussing, and continue with adding podcasting gear to the site.
I did get some kickback from blog readers in the past, buying books and other stuff from my wishlist and from links in blog posts. I wonder how I could get this going again? I am an Audible affiliate with their trial offer, so I am mentioning this great service during my podcast.
