In order to build online influence, stand out from your competitors, attract a loyal following, and ultimately grow your business, you need to be AT LEAST a Triple Threat. It is no longer good enough to have just a great product or service. Having the right message delivered to the right audience at the right time is still not enough.

Julie: That is good to know! ;) I am not so much into sports, but I learned to appreciate American football during my studies at Southern New Hampshire University. It is fascinating how you could learn about business life, watching the Super Bowl ads.

Martin, I am one of probably only about ten people in the world who not only doesn't watch the game, but doesn't follow it nor care about it. :)

Julie,

It is a challenge to figure out this! ;) We think that our listeners would like anglophile style kind of music with a twist, and then a hybrid of old time big band jazz and modern electronic music, called electro swing, could play along well... :)

The only way to find out is to give it a shot and see, right? Let me know if you are right :)

Thanks Julie! What kind of music do you like? Lotta Gergils Aston and I are tinkering about what kind of jingle we should have for our podcast show, TrendPal. Please read my post, Singing Along to TrendPal’s Jingle Bells and Whistles:

Hmm - what I like is not necessarily what your target market would enjoy LOL. What are the demographics of your Podcast target audience? I think you should select music that those people would find engaging to grab their attention. JMHO

Julie: I can't sing or dance. I had a "traumatic" experience during music class in elementary school, so I lost interest in this area. I say that I have two left feet, but I want to learn to dance to swing jazz someday...

My jack of trade is that I understand fundamental ideas and can therefore apply a rational philosophical approach in order to master all things in my worklife. I see the big picture in business and point to the important act of achieving your values in life.

I call myself a "trader in matter & spirit."

I am sure you will master that swing jazz some day :) Seeing the big picture in business will definitely take you far!

I wonder what my triple treat could be? How about that I am answering questions on new media, business philosophy and the good life, on my podcast show, EGO NetCast?

That could work - but can you sing, dance and act too? :) What if you started off your podcast show with a little jingle LOL This post is actually one I pulled out again and re-did specifically because I just saw "Into the Woods" with same daughter. When the butcher's wife opened her mouth to sing, her voice was amazing and I told my daughter that the actress looked really familiar but I didn't know she could sing. She said that Emily Blunt has been in a ton of movies but as far as she knew, she never sang in any of them. What a waste of a gorgeous voice all this time. I recently did a video for a client who used to do radio shows and had his own jingle. I added the jingle to the front and back end of the video but how cool would it have been if he was singing his own jingle? :)
