f it took some work, would you say no? How about if the change reduced your costs. And increased revenue? It can be comfortable continue business as usual with the same old processes. Yet to get growth and more customers a fresh look, with a dash of simplicity may be in order.

Susan: Thanks for the tips! I have heard about SurveyMonkey, but not QuestionPro.

Susan: Thanks for your reply! I have to "chew" this topic! Do you have tips on sources on how to create surveys and questionnaires?

There are a number of them Martin. QuestionPro http://www.questionpro.com/ has a number of templates and video tutorials that may help you. Also I SurveyMonkey has some information. Hope that helps.

Susan: How do you go about to find out the questions and the answers? Could the key issue be the real motivation on why the potential client wants to buy your products / services? Could you come to the core issue with a questionnaire?

Hi Martin,

If you know your area then you know the questions to ask and the possible answers. Also for some questions you allow for them to add more information if they want. Could you elaborate on the second question, as I am not sure I understand it and don't want to give you the wrong reply. You can get to the core issue and it is often due to a number of related factors. Hope this answers questions. If not let me know.

Great tips here, Susan. KISS is the name of the game, especially when it comes to business online. Don't make people think too much because that's the difference between getting or loosing their business. Thanks for sharing your insights with us.

Susan: How effective is a questionnaire compared with having an interview with the client?

Hi Martin, I think it can be as effective if you know what questions to ask and what the possible answers are. It also helps focus you and the customer on the key issues.

Very good ideas Susan. Reviewing what you do on a daily basis is important, it allows changes to be made that will streamline any process.

Thanks Steve, although you don't have to do it on a daily basis. My process changes took place over weeks as sometimes you need to make a small change see how it goes and then tweak some more.
