Fine job Yonatan. I love the tie in with the graphics and color schemes of U.S.A. Today. You are correct in stating that a colorful blog is more pleasant of a reading experience than a generic one. Keep writing and I'll keep on reading, and voting.

Thank you for your kind remarks. It made so much sense when I initially thought about it. Actually the impetus was several months back when I saw a survey conducted for USA Today readers; 60 percent (give or take) stated that the number 1 reason they had for reading the paper were the graphics, charts and unique color photos. It was really at that point that I started trying to spice up my blog. The feedback from readers has been amazing. Thanks for your kindness,

Thanks for your kindness! FYI: I used to go with the standard black/white blog and what I do now has been a long evolutionary process.

I just think that as I show USA Today has done, reading should and can be an overall experience for the senses.

You are so right Yoni. A picture or a video can make an okay post into a a much more enjoyable one for the reader. They add to the experience.

Also the colours you use on the blog should be part of your brand identity otherwise it can confuse readers and customers.
