A nice article that was very helpful to me. Your points are simple yet profound. As a business consultant, I have lots of horror stories about logos gone bad! The point about flexibility is vital. I tell my clients, before finalizing the logo design, to view it in black only, horizontal layout, vertically stacked layout, small and large. If they still love the logo go forth - if not go back to the drawing board to tweak it so it communicates well in all mediums. Thank You
