A lot of things are in flux so I really think not innovating products is a mistake. At the same time, it's a mistake to innovate for no reason. Look at your product. Ask yourself how viable it remains. Or have you seen new needs that should be filled.

Shawn, you bring up good points. Getting closer to your customers and keeping an eye on competitors and market trends can help in this area. It can be helpful to test ideas and then gain feedback and refine so you do not waste time and money on what you thought was a great innovation but no one wants to purchase.
