With omnipresent WiFi and 3G, increased use of mobile devices and the rootedness of social media in everyday life, today's businesses have a golden opportunity to use these new channels to unlock growth. But the shift in relationships that the new technology makes possible--the evolution from a one-way to two-way conversation between marketer and customer--may be too much to handle for less-than-savvy marketers.

It's time for marketers to take advantage of the digital channels available to them.

This is really a good read. Why do consumers want to waste time reading "between" the lines. Being transparent is like not hiding the secret. I think more will appreciate being straight-forwards. Thanks for sharing this!

This is an awesome article. Certainly, I got to believe and totally agree with it.

Marketing, those days, were entirely focused on the results. Nowadays, those strategies won't work anymore. Instead, you need to start thinking out of the box and start to build relationship with your customers (for a complete win scenario).

I was reading one of the post by Highrise CEO today and they were talking about why personalization is important for brands. Now after reading this its not wrong to say that being transparent is the new marketing for businesses.

Just a thought!
