Computers are replacing human beings across many industries, but the humble grocery-store self-checkout machines just can't cut the mustard compared to human cashiers.

Machines cant really replace people because we made them and without us, machines cannot exist at the first place.

We also have our mind, more capable of the strongest processor nowadays.

Ironically, there is less human interaction these days with human cashiers. They don't take your money and give change or swipe your credit card. You swipe or insert or wave your credit card while they stare blankly into space and avoid eye contact. So, despite what the article says, the robots are winning. With a touch of human assistance.
