This article from CNN Money Small Business again raises questions over small business funding. While the U.S. Small Business Administration claims it's given plenty of money to the small business sector, a tally of the numbers and where money is being awarded may not bear out those claims. Criticism of the SBA and the degree to which it truly helps small business have dogged the federal agency for years, potentially a troubling issue given the importance of small businesses to the U.S. economy.

Interesting article Shawn. I would only observe that perhaps it's not all bad news here. While it may not be good for the small business owner when his business fails, I think the government goes too far in trying to eliminate risk for entrepreneurs. Sometimes businesses fail for the right reasons, and I don't think the government needs to loan money to companies just to delay the inevitable.
