Use it correctly, and a blog can be an excellent source of both traffic and links. However, while I’d never discourage you from creating the sort of content that can boost your traffic and potentially bring in links, on their own, traffic and/or links are not going to make a difference to your bottom line.

On that note, I’m going to take a wild guess that you’re here because you want your blog to do more than bring in traffic – you want it to drive sales, too.

Here are the 10 types of blog posts proven to drive sales:
1. The how-to
2. The cheat sheet
3. The checklist
4. The comparison post
5. The guest post from a brand advocate
6. The case study
7. The wake-up call
8. The unique-findings post
9. The expert roundup post
10. The reverse psychology post
