Graeme Benge: Thanks for the list. I have heard rumors, that some free Google analytics tools, will soon be premium services, costing money. Is that true?

Hi Lyceum, could be true, I've not heard how far their monetisation plans will go with GA.

Premium GA as it stands is SOOO pricey that they may potentially look at a product between that and the freemium version. They would need to consider how they differentiate from Site Catalyst, the other big paid for analytics platform.

If they went down this route, I could imagine Piwik gaining a bit more traction as people look for value for money.

All just opinion though!!!

It's always good to be monitoring the stats of our sites, this will enable us to know where we are doing it well were we should improve on and, Google analytics is indeed a very good tool for that. Thanks for sharing this with the bizsugar community.
