Hi Tomas,

There are so many reasons small businesses need a Website but you've covered three of the big reasons here. Obviously, when we say a Website, we're also talking hopefully about a blog or a Website with blogging capabilities including regular updates and a social component or some other interactive quality that will engage visitors and keep them coming back for more. This is so important to businesses in an era when customers are seeking what they need via the Internet that it cannot be overstated.

Heather, I'm glad you liked my post. Yes, I think that getting and keeping visitors' engagement is important. And I think a blog is a great way to do that (I would hope so since I am a blogger).

I did not include that component of a website because I thought it would overwhelm somebody trying to setup a business website.

There are already too many technical things to do. One more might just stop them from creating a website.
