When they say design that sells, I think I would emphasize a clear UI path to product purchase, not just a flashy look. Too many sites these days have beautiful designs that just don't convert.

How about what we mention in the article: Some of these strategies include selecting the right color, placement of products and words, font size, font type and even the specific words that are use to ask your website viewers to take action.
