While it may seem counter-intuitive, there are quite a few reasons why business owners want to resist the urge to delete comments and reviews that are critical of them. Sometimes, negative reviews can actually help, not harm, your business. Here are a few reasons why it’s okay to let negative reviews lie on your page.

Ivan is Right - if someone goes too far, they'll probably be glad it was deleted, anyway - after they've calmed down & realize that otherwise it's out there forever, and that it might cause embarrassment beyond what might later seem like a much smaller issue.

But there's no reason to delete a comment because it is critical, or comes from a different point of view - that's what comments are for. Let 'em fly!

It's true!once you will delete negative feedbacks, it will just make your customers feel more frustrated and will never come again. So, if there is more time, be courteous and be polite to ask for another chances of development and promise to make the services better. Better yet, assure them that there concerns will be graciously responded.

All very well thought out from a marketing standpoint. The question becomes: Is there a reason to delete negative comments? Throwing it out to the marketing community. Love to hear what everybody thinks.

If It's abusive, delete it. If it's helpful, then take it on the chin and see why they made these remarks.
