SoundGecko is a free online tool and you can add RSS feeds to it and also listen to articles via iTunes and other apps. It's also available as a Chrome extension. I have a video for it on my YouTube Channel.

I don't see how it could be done without human intervention. Machines have a difficult time translating human speech into text. They do a good job going from text to speech though. I use SoundGecko for that.

Hi Lyceum, no they can't. That's why it's critical to include a great title, description and tags. Including the transcript or captions also helps.
