Thanks so much for adding your suggestions. Audio and video are two things I'm considering. For now, I'm just trying to tackle the use of static images. :0) All new info on social media says video is the up and coming thing.
Guest bloggers is another thing on my list but thanks for the reminder. Everyone I've spoken to says it's a great way to increase readership.
One thing I've discovered with my blog is it's sort of like owning a house, there's always something you can fix, change, improve, etc.

Great tips! How about adding audio now and then? Cinch has a neat service so you could embed the audio in your blog post. Another suggestion is to invite guest bloggers.
