Every click may not be created equally. According to a recent Starcom USA study, some so-called "heavy clickers" are distorting the click through rates that companies are receiving. Researchers from Starcom USA, Tacoda and comScore found that heavy clickers account for half of the click-throughs for display ads.

I agree. Something's not right there. My guess is that you don't have the same problem with targeted ads on targeted sites. I think this study sends a confusing message. I only voted for it to promote dicussion.

i'm sorry, but i don't understand why these 'heavy clickers' are clicking at all. what mysterious thing makes it so that the lower your income, the more you click on things.
