Commenting is something that most bloggers do. Some bloggers comment on multiple blogs each day while others only comment every now and then. No matter how much a blogger comments most bloggers are all doing it for the same reason and that is to network with other bloggers and get exposure to our own blogs.

For me, blog commenting is the most enjoyable part of blogging. I love being able to socialize with my fellow bloggers. Plus, it gives me an outlet to talk about and express the “blogging” things are on my mind that people in my personal life don’t “get”, like my fiance’ for example. :)
A few things I’ve learned about blog commenting is to always respect the blog owner and leave thoughtful and insightful comments that reflect you actually took the time to read and digest their content. We all love to be validated, so being sure to mention “specifics” about things the author mentioned in their content is a plus.
I think it’s also important to be authentic and transparent in your comment. As well as writing like you talk. The comment section is where the conversation takes place so writing in a relaxed, conversational tone does well for encouraging more discussion. The same is true for writing blog content. :)
This is my first time visiting your blog, Dee Ann and I’m loving what I’ve seen and read so far. I’ll be sure to share this piece with my social circle. I’ll also comment and share it with the BizSugar community.
Keep the great content coming and I look forward to connecting with you more soon.
