One relatively little known legal requirement that impacts bloggers is that product reviewers are required to disclose if they received any compensation from "materially connected" parties in connection with the review. For example, if a hotel lets a blogger stay for free for the purposes of reviewing the hotel, the blogger would be legally (and ethically, I would think) required to state this fact in their review.
