You're darn right it's better, Nicole!

I personally can't stand traditional SEO. I love content marketing and engaging directly with my audience. It's the best part of online content creation/blogging. Plus, I don't have to worry about Google smacking me in the face every month. :)

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and insights with us on this topic.

You are so right about getting smacked by Google! Sometimes, I think Google makes changes simply because they *can*. While I still care about ranking well, I'd much rather focus my efforts on building a relationship with my audience, instead of spending all of my time thinking about what a group of button-pushers at Google may/may not want to see!

Thanks for sharing this Nicole.

SEO has always been a huge 'thing' for bloggers and website owners. At times, we would need to take a step back, and see the whole picture. Content marketing, social engagement & social shares play huge roles now as well!

Voted up!

Thanks for the vote, Reginald!

That's the best word there is to describe SEO these days -- "thing". It's gotten bigger and bigger (at least in some marketers' minds), but not necessarily better. It's certainly not the end-all-be-all that some people think it is. There are so many other great ways to market yourself -- like content marketing! :)
