Excellent article Nicole. I especially like the first point "You care more about Google than me". When will people realise that it's people not Google that are going to share their posts, link to their content and buy their products and services? Looking forward to reading more of your posts.

I hope that even just a few business owners will read this "letter" and realize that Google isn't the end-all-be-all that they think it is. Unfortunately, though, there will always be marketers who are so focused on Google that they can't focus on anything else. They can't "see the forest from the trees", so to speak!
