I've struggled with Google Analytics for over a decade, and it wasn't until recently that it hit me; Google Analytics isn't made for small businesses.

Thanks Ben for the explanation. I can't wait to try it out.

Love this Ben, how does it compare to Burst? I just started using it on a new blog and like it but don't love it. I may have to try yours out!

Thanks, Lisa! The main difference is that Independent Analytics gives you a full data table with sorting, custom date ranges, and filters. You can use the filters to find things like your most popular posts or even 404 errors. The same goes for the referrers menu and geographic data. Burst Statistics gives you the number of views for your top pages and referrers, but there’s no way to dig deeper into your data. There are other differences too, but I’d say that’s the main difference in how they work.
