SEO can bring your site to the top of Google rankings and Google updates can bring you down. I don’t like talking about SEO much, because I got burnt by various tactics that I used in the past so, I’m very careful about doing any SEO these days and if you don’t know what you are doing then I recommend to stay away from SEO tricks as well.

Factors, but what about relevant content?

I believe that Google is very smart in determining what page has the most relevant content to the keyword. And I think the ranking doesn't depend upon the number of frequency the keyword is used in the content. Am I right?

I think you mean the ranking factor "keywords in body". Your keywords determine what's the content about and by that Google determines whether it is relevant to they keyword you are trying to rank for or not.

Nice article. It is also comes to my mind that maybe Google makes the site, that has been shared on Google +, in rank. In order for them to have more user of Google +. I didn't confirm it as true but there is a point on it.

Well, yes it sounds logical for them to trust more a social media site they own and give it an edge rather than a site they have no control of.
