One of the early arguments against owning a website was how difficult they were to manage. Website owners had to be familiar with HTML and CSS scripting. The alternative was to hire an expensive web designer to manage the site for you. But that has all changed. Today, the only skill required to manage a website, is that you be able to use a mouse. And it is all thanks to the introduction of a content management system.

A content management system (CMS) allows you to manage your website through a graphical control display. Instead of working with codes, you can modify your website through familiar ‘post’ and ‘upload’ options, similar to what you have in Facebook.
