It pretty much demonstrates the need for niche marketing especially when it comes to SEO. Competing for the top keywords, specially in a highly competitive area, is a loosing proposition and will require so much effort from you that it becomes unsustainable. Working smarter with a niche approach in an area with less competition and a better opportunity to create a unique audience is always a better approach.
