Nicole: Funny that you said iced tea. Yesterday, I celebrated the Iced Tea Day with a podcast on Audioboo and post on my blog, TeaParty.nu!

Nicole: Thanks for your kind words! Are you a tea drinker? :)

Nicole: Thanks for your input! I have decided to start a new podcast on tea on Iced Tea Day, June 10, answering questions on tea. I will use these questions and my answers and research for my forthcoming book, "Tea For The Win - Tea For Two +1 = Tea53."

Nicole: That would be a great example! Thanks for mentioning it. Do you know if you could use any special program for turning blog posts into an e-book? I wonder if I could take some of my 12 years of blogging and turn it into an ebook?

At some point in time, I am thinking of using podcasts / audio files for a book and audiobook at the same time.

I don't think you'd need anything special. Simply copying and pasting the posts into a single PDF should do it. If you want, you could write a short introduction to each post to help things flow a little better, but that's purely optional.

Nicole: Talk with you soon about podcasting... ;) Do you have examples of blog posts turned into e-books?

Hmmm... I had a good one saved in my computer, but I can't find it! :) It was actually written by a fiction writer. Her blog focused on fiction writing as a whole, but she took all of the posts dedicated to writing a specific type of action scene and turned it into an ebook. It was great because it allowed you to zero in on EXACTLY what you needed, without scrolling through her entire blog. She simply copied the posts into a single PDF. It was easy for her and helpful for her readers... it doesn't get any better than that! :)

Nicole: Thanks for giving inspiring tips on how to "recycle" (in a positive a useful way) your content. Have you tested podcasting yet? Have you seen examples of taking blog posts and turn them into a book?

I haven't done any podcasting, but I have seen people take their blog posts and turn them into an ebook. It's actually a really great way to group a bunch of related blog posts together so that people have the info they need, without having to search all over the blog's archives for them!
