Unless you have that extra something, a certain amount of appeal and yes, lots of material to back you up, being noticed in the world of blogging is tough mate.

Hi Jane,

I love this post. I agree; you definitely have to be original and unique to stand out in the blogging world. There's millions of other blogger who write about the exact same things, yet only a small percentage of them are actually noticed.

I've been under the radar in the blogging/IM niche for years. I've just relaunched my blog a month ago and I'm just now starting to get noticed and some recognition in the blogosphere. I attribute that to my new found vision for where I want to take my blogging business and finally letting go of the norms and going against the grain.

I love your writing style and your tone. You definitely have what it takes to stand out. Thanks for sharing your insight on BizSugar. I appreciate it!

I really need to get noticed as i am novice to marketing and need more attention from others, well in that case i really need to shout that "Hey I am here Come to check me out". That title suits the most.

Getting noticed is always the trick, but whether your path is controversy, humor, or something else, the most important thing in the blogosphere is to be yourself. Anything else is just too exhausting. (And readers will know the difference.)

Right on the spot Heather! No matter how much fluff you put into your blogpost, being true to yourself will be the only way to truly get your readers to stick and listen to what you have to say.
